Some of Tommy’s world music influences include African, Indian, Arabic, Flamenco, Klezmer, and Native American styles. He cites Jimmy Page as his main rock music influence.
Boston Metronome says "Osuna is a man with a vision. He already is one of the true guitar greats, even if he is not a household name"
Tommy began playing guitar as a kid growing up in a tough California neighborhood. Guitar playing quickly became not just something for him to do; but rather, a lifestyle which set him apart form the other kids who had nothing to do but get into trouble. Playing guitar and making music are still a ways of life for Tommy that bring endless satisfaction and opportunities to connect with others in meaningful ways.
Musician’s Trade Journal says: “Osuna is a talented guitarist whose instrumental songs have a real, natural, flow to them. Using a variety of guitar-based sounds, Osuna presents an array of impressions that range from light and happy as in Ndozi, to jamming a'la Allman Brothers in the song Retro, to the soulful blues ballad of Birds Cryin'. Osuna's guitar playing speaks to you....”
The Bakersfield Press says "Mezmerising, untraditional guitar playing..."
